We’ll be working on the next part of our sustainability update on O’Hill on April 21st. This workday will be part of UVA’s EarthWeek celebration, so we are expecting lots of volunteers with lots of enthusiasm. It’d be great to have a few extra hands with some experience to help guide the enthusiasm. It’s also a pretty big project, so extra hands would be great. No experience is required!
Meet on O’Hill at the “gate by the water towers” at 9, or at the CAMBC shed in Meadow Creek Gardens at 8:30 for carpooling, or Bodos on 29N for breakfast at 8. (See links for directions.) Parking on O’Hill is limited, so carpooling and/or biking over is encouraged.
The ticks are out, so definitely wear sturdy footwear, long pants, some deet, and bring gloves. We’ll have tools for everyone, but feel free to bring your favorite trailwork tool (with it’s ownership marked so we can get it back to you if it gets misplaced).
